Aerosmith - Come Together (Originally by The Beatles)

Aerosmith collaborated with Beatles producer George Martin to record this song for the 1978 film Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, which turned out to be one of the worst films ever made. Aerosmith appeared in the film as the Future Villain Band, agreeing to play the role only because they couldn't pass up the opportunity to record a Beatles song with George Martin. They weren't the only big names in the movie; Peter Frampton and The Bee Gees also appeared.

When it was released as a single, Aerosmith's version of "Come Together" reached number 23 in the United States. "I've actually never heard anybody say that," their guitarist Brad Whitford said when we asked why some people prefer the Aerosmith version. "But you know, it's funny, I hear our version more on the radio than The Beatles' version," Whitford added.
